Hi, just wanted some information about hepatitis. Can anybody get it or do you have to be with someone who is hepatitis positive.

Can two negative person transmit hepatitis to each other?

Can kissing lead to hepatitis or musturbation.

I’m sorry as I do not have much knowledge about hepatitis and just curious about how one can catch it.

I recently had protected sex with a female, kissing with someone different and received handjob from a third female.

Am I at risk?
Help?????

I’m not a doctor just a patient who had hep c for 37 years. So mostly I know about hepatitis c. For other forms of hepatitis try that patient forum or for an more informed answer ask your personal physician.

If there was hepatitis c infected blood in the saliva and that saliva blood mix could have entered the blood stream through an open wet weeping fresh injury it is, in theory, possible.

Hepatitis c is a blood borne virus. Hepatitis c infected blood must enter the blood stream of an uninfected person for any risk of transmission.

As an example of relative risk if a medical worker should experience an accidental needle stick involving a patient with known hepatitis c the risk of transmission is only about 1.8%

You said no one involved in your situation has hep c. If you note I have said that hepatitis c infected blood must be present for transmission.

You cannot transmit an infection you don’t have there is nothing to transmit.
