I saw Dr. Vallejos at the Oregon Clinic West. He is a Heptologist and is very knowledgeable. He is a very nice guy that spends as much time as you need answering your questions. He was so optimistic but realistic at the same time. He was my light at the end of the long tunnel. He saved my live by prescribing Boceprevire for me and yes I am UND and it has been 1 year and 2 months since my last treatment. He is a Great doctor and I would send my Mother to him if she was alive.

I just saw Dr. Benner at the Oregon Clinic. Very smart guy.
I was glad to get him.

I had Dr. Flora several years ago and he was super nice guy. However, I'm pretty sure Dr. Flora is not a liver specialist, more of a gastrointesinal whatever. At least that was 4-5 years ago.

I would go with the smartest guy, who cares what their attitude is. I'm asking to be saved, not hugged.

I've seen both Dr. Kenneth Flora at the Oregon Clinic and Dr. Atif Zaman at OHSU. They both seem to be good competent doctors and up to date on Hep C. However, their bedside manner is vastly different. Dr. Flora is gregarious, takes time to answer all your questions, and empathetic while Dr. Zaman is none of these and makes it clear he has no time for silly questions. I found Dr. Zaman to be very condescending.
