Lynn and Fret have given you excellent advice. I would write it all down. Anything you can think of, any side effects you have. Even things you don't think are related might be related.
I did not know about the spider angiomas on my body or the cyroglobulinemia, rash knees down, swelling, pain like my ankles were broken progressing on to purple splotches, felt like my leg bones were broken. Just an example.
Dark urine?
Good luck to you.

You're gonna want to pontificate on your HepC symptoms in a major way. If you swell up, ankles or feet mention it, if you suffer from fatigue mention it. Anything you suffer from that's related to HepC talk about it. Any work you missed b/c of appointments or being sick, bring it up. Also, if you've had a liver biopsy or ultrasound, mention the results. Lastly, it would help to look scared and anxious to remove HepC from your body. good luck!!
Things that are helpful is if you have any extrahepatic manifestations of hepatitis C. Some examples are Cryoglobulinaemia, Glomerulonephritis & Porphyria Cutanea Tarda or renal disorders. Also if you are woman of child bearing age that alone can be a reason to allow treatment. I take it you do not have any liver damage. Is your doctor helping at all with your appeal with any advice or suggestions?
Good luck
