How do I know my genotype

I got my lab results from the hospital and this is what it says:

HCV RNA PCR Quant  5145696
HCV Log10                        6.71

The method used for this test is Real-Time PCR of the 5 UTR of the HCV genome.

Can anyone help me????

If my VL is 3.88 how do you calculate that? It only says greater than 7500 or 3.88 and I can't seem to get a specific # from hep doc I've asked 2x and I'm told"Your titer is low.".

Hi sorry about your diagnosis.  You will probably need another blood draw for genotype.  I remember I first found out my viral load, then after another test my geno.

With the new drugs you have the best odds ever to clear the virus.

Good luck !

Your genotype is not listed in this information.  Best thing to do is to call your doctor's office and ask them what your genotype is and also ask them to send you a copy of the results.
