I want to give away Jim's unopened, uncontaminated medication for hepatic encephalopathy.

I have some untouched medication that was just filled at the pharmacy for my husband the week that he passed away. I would like to give the medicine to someone who has no insurance or is having some trouble funding medication. I would be happy to ship it to you. I have Lactulose (4 full, unopened bottles and one half full bottle...I transfered the syrup to a smaller bottle for easy administration) and Xifaxan (90   200 mg tabs). Send me a note and I'll get it to you. Best of luck. Tricia

I really wish I could hug you through time and space, you are so brave, and to be thinking of this so soon.

Someone in here will be very grateful.
We all feel your loss Tricia; Jim was very blessed to have had you..

wow, you struck a nerve for me. I'm not the one suffering from liver failure/hepC, my husband is. Just this week a new shipment from Medco arrived of his Lactulose. Actually this shipment puts us ahead a months worth, since he's scrip was changed from one dosage amt to another I figured I'd go ahead and turn it in order to get ahead with the meds incase he'd get sick and be out of work/ins. we'd have a cushion.

Anyway, reading that you have this unopened medication and need to get rid of it made me realize that one day, some day...thats going to be me.

God, this is so hard.

Thoughts and prayers with you.
