Vyvanse is an amphetamine and I always thought amphetamine was really bad for the liver. It can raise your ALT's and it can be really tough coming off of.
That being said, it works wonders for fatigue.
I have been on Vyvanse 70mg for a number of years SVR but PIS with very good effects.
Suffering from chronic low level anemia/chronic fatigue/insomnia Vyvanse helps once I am able to get out of bed... getting to sleep is another matter.
This is areally old thread. Not only did Miked become SVR, he became a Vertex advocate. If you want some feedback on your information i suggest you go to the top and "Post a Question"
I don't know if Vyvanse would be allowed. It has the d type amphetamine rather than the i type . . . supposed to be more effective and fewer sides. Some people find it helpful.
Actually I think I know what it is - starbucks double roast morning blend.
work in the beauty industry - in corporate. yawn. lovely seeing models all around that are barely 16 but look 25 and the guys that make me blush....... ;)
Sometimes...I get bored out of my bonkers...working in the hair and beauty industry while going through treatment was NOT a good thing, let me tell you. One reason I went out and got my lovely lady wigs ;)
Thanks for the information. I'll research the options that you gave.
I'm in the software business.

Hope this helps! I have cleared the virus after 48 weeks of treatment.
I haven't heard of anything that might work except something like Adderoll (extended Ritalin) like my son takes above.
Ritalin was actually developed by the Nazi's during the world war to help keep the guys eyes focused on the radar screens - something I learned when my son was first found to have ADD.
I'd like to take some right now at work - I could use it! ;)
Lol , I hear ya on that one.Except I save myself 5 bucks a pop.....Folger's Gourmet Dark Roasted....Few cup's of mud and I'm ready...I try to cut back on the Sausage grease milkshakes........lol
Some have posted that their dr's prescribed stimulants for fatigue. I already take adderall and it has the opposite effect on me since it was prescribed for hyperactivty, attention deficit. Post when you find out what he means.
My doc also gave me some samples of Provigil. Never took it for some reason that I can't remember.
I started on provigil yesterday for fatigue it does help but it does not help with shortness of breath.
It got me out of the bed where I had been for 2 months. Tried
B12 shots - didn't help.
Provigil is prescribed for MS patients to increase energy. Also, given to patients with narcolepsy and sleep apnea.
I wish I would have started it sooner. I had never known real fatigue.
Thanks!
The treatment drugs can cause depression and fatigue. Both conditions are not always treated with the same drug. You doctor may be referring to a psycho-stimulant like Ritalin to combat the fatigue portion tx side effects.
Sure he wasn't referring to procrit and an A/D that doesn't make you tired?
not sure you saw my reply to your post the other day regarding wellbutrin. it was not prohibited for me on the vx trial. i had been taking it before tx & increased from 150 to 300 mg per day (the sustained release) about 2 monthdinto tx. it seems to help with the fatigue. your doc may have something else like provigil in mind.
