In need of a Hepatologist

I'm looking for a Hep doctor in the Los Angeles or Orange count area. Preferably involved in clinical trials. I had an appointment with Dr. Hu in Irvine but under my GI's advice I cancelled because apparantely Dr. Hu's english is very bad. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Bob

My G.I. called me and told me that he had went to a seminar and Dr. Hu couldn't understand any questions given nor could he understand him. I also heard from other forum members that he is very rude anyways I cancelled my appointment. Thanks for the links OH. What's up Bali? I just sent Alef1 a PM. Take care buddy and keep in touch.

Check out this list. I know there's several in So. Cal.
The best of the best is probably Dr. Gish in San Diego, a bit far for you to go.

Having a strong accent or limited English doesn't mean Dr. Hu is any less of a doctor. However, you have to be comfortable with your hepatologist.

As far as clinical trials goes, call and ask. I know when I see my hepatologist, there's often trial information posted in the liver clinic.
