Injection Once a Month

I was treated with the 24 wk interferon and ribavirin geno 2...3 months after treatment undected next and the 6 month test is in 2 weeks. I have two friends that have been recently told they have 'C'. However, they have heard there is a new treatment with monthly injections coming soon, I am saying to them do the treatment now and don't wait.
Any Information You Have Would be appreciated.

If you look at the link you will notice that this drug is in early Phase III testing, so it has a ways to go.  I didn't look for any of the earlier phase trial results.  good luck

You can google 'albuferon'  for further information.  I haven't read much on it lately but it might still be in trial.  It was every two weeks.  Some people here were in the two-week albuferon trial.
