Is testing warranted for Hep C exposure?

I was having a conversation with a person with known Hep C genotype 1a. Some of their spit landed on my lip while talking. Am I at risk? What is the earliest I could test?

I read the above article, while helpful it needs to mention people who were given gama globulin injections before the 90's. A gama globulin injection is a mixture of more than one persons blood.  Many Vitenam Vets have it from these inoculations and for other reasons.  The CDC states that up to 1 in 4 people with HCV don't know they have it yet.
Also one can get it from sharing a straw to snort drugs.  The blood would have been microscopic.
In addition, sharing toothbrushes, razors with someone infected is not a good idea, again microscopic blood.

Thank you Lynn
Congratulations Bryce100, happy to hear you don't have it.
