Just finished

Just to tell you that I have just finised my shot 72 of interferon and feeling  afraid and releaved at the same time, afraid that it will be back because now will start the waiting time. Am very happy that I did my part, I know the rest is not in my hands anymore. thanks for being there for this period in my life it's nice to know that we are not alone in this.

congrats on finishing a long haul.  I read that you cleared at week 24.  What was your viral load at 12 weeks?  I hope this did it for you.  Good luck.

"Am very happy that I did my part, I know the rest is not in my hands anymore."

Yes, that is the bottom line. Man proposes; God disposes.

I really, really hope that Nature/The gods/The God/Destiny/Fate/Karma/Luck/even Pure Chance, all give you a break. 72 weeks is insane to me, unthinkable. All my best wishes for a successful outcome from such a grueling marathon.

Way to go!!! Congratulations on finishing the long haul. Ah yes, the waiting game - I remember well and still have one more to go through at 1 year post. But, like you said, you gave it your best shot and your liver a whole lot of healing time. Are you going to do PCR's at 1 month-3 months and 6 months? Whatever you do, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and an SVR down the line.

I was actually afraid to stop at 72 and wanted to keep on going but at this point you have done all you can do and now you just have to stand.

I hope and pray that you have SVR........from someone in the 72 week club i know how hard you worked for it!

BEST of luck!

PS the waiting does get easier but it takes years so dont feel bad about being nervous ;)
