Kuwait visa medical test

Hi,
Thanks to anyone that may shed light on this subject. I have been HVC clear since 2006. I still carry antibodies i think. I will be taking visa medical exam in Kuwait. My question is will a positive antibody for HCV make you unfit for residency in Kuwait ? or will they test PCR ?

There have been people on here and even on expat forums who went about this the wrong way and were declared unfit by GAMCA. I would ask around on a forum where lots of people have experience with this because once it is in the system it is difficult next to impossible to correct.

Questions like this have come up in the past.  As I remember....the answers were obtained by contacting your embassy.   They could most likely direct you to getting the answer to your if they don't have one.

I would be obtaining an original letter from your doctor stating you do not have Hepatitis C and can NOT give it to someone else.   This would be your benefit even if you are tested ( PCR) to verify that fact.   If this is important to you....you might offer to pay for the (PCR) test.  Cost could create a denial.

Best to you
