If you're having a liver biopsy and the only question you have is about when you can drink again, then you might consider that you have a drinking problem
People who have liver disease or Hep C should never drink at all. It's like pouring gasoline on a fire
Sometimes patients are refused treatment because they continue to drink. This is absolutely true for those who are looking at a liver transplant. People who are "listed" (on the list of those waiting for a liver) are not considered if they are still drinking. The thought is, why give a good liver to someone who will not take care of it?
Good luck to you. You will feel better without the alcohol and your liver will get a chance to recover
A. You should ask your doctor.
B. If you are needing a liver biopsy what is the condition of your liver? If you have liver damage my advice would be it is not safe for you to drink alcohol ever.
But again you should consult with your doctor.
