Liver Function

As some of you know, I am on treatment right now. Week 18/48, geno 1a, starting VL of 6,000,000, cleared between week 2 and week 6. All good, I know. Was grade 1 stage 2 one year prior to beginning treatment. Well, not only did my latest bloodwork show all my blood counts are good, but my liver function is now NORMAL!! Are you kidding me?? Its been a long time since that was the case. I couldnt believe it when my Dr said it. I could definitely get used to hearing that!

Add to all that the fact that my side effects are minimal. The only thing I deal with on a regular basis is mild fevers. But Advil usually takes care of it. I realize how incredibly lucky I am with how this treatment has gone so far, given all my specifics. Im still not forgetting about the possibility of Viral Breakthrough, but I am very optimistic at this point.

Anyway, I was so excited about my liver function tests I had to share it.

I wish everyone here the absolute best, honestly. You guys have been a huge help to me. And hopefully, my situation can encourage someone who is a geno 1a and is nervous about treatment and the possibility of success.

God Bless,
Graham
