Looks like ill be doing this full term 35weeks to go

Hey everybody just updating I'm on week 13 everything's been going great still having no side effects tho I have gained 28 lbs since starting treatment (thyroids been checked just been lacking motivation) went to my 12 week dock appointment today was a week late have to get blood work tomorrow doc said everything is going great and he wishes to continue treating the full 48 weeks as long as I'm still undetectable in these next labs. This ***** cause I was hoping to finish earlier but I'm just grateful  not feeling bad so I'm lucky for that. I asked the doctor since I haven't had barely any side effects should I expect them closer to the end of treaent and he said with the patients he's seen it's been where they were hit hard in the beginning and it eased up at the end so things should continue to go smoothly! You never see much post about people talking about having no side so I always like to post cause I've looked for them myself. It's to soon to tell but maybe ill get through this whole year with out sides! If anyone out there has been hit with sides late in treatment feel free to share cause I wonder about this alot. I feel like I could blame anyway I'm feeling on These meds some days I do feel extra tired or have a huge head ache or coughing more then usual and back pain I could say this is from meds but I've dealt with all these feelings before so I don't feel like the meds are responsible and if they are I wouldn't bring it up to the doc. Any way just sharing some of the news take care

What great news!  Time goes very quickly.  I am in my 19th week (incivik) and have had very few sx.  My thyroid took a hit, not much hair left and I have myalgia but I can deal with all of that to get rid of the virus.  Continue to work and go for walks.  I will do 48 weeks as well but I have stopped doing a weekly countdown.  I keep track by my labs and monthly appt.  Other than that I just put this all as routine.

I hope the next 13 for you go just as smoothly!!

This is a great post and I am really happy you are doing so well. I think people tend to post more when they are unsure of the treatment and want to see how others are doing or if they flat out feel crappy. Plus some people just do not come on line. For some reason I was surprised how many people I knew who were treating the same time I was and did not come on line. I hope you keep in touch and let us know how things are going :)

Wow, no sx, that is great! It does happen that way for many, but not many of those people bother to report it here. It's really nice that you are telling us, as this forum can be kind of scary when only the sickest people are doing all the talking. Congratulations on doing so well! I do think sometimes sx will arise late in tx, but I'd guess that if it does only come up late it will probably be milder sx too. I had lots of serious sx beginning from week one, and towards the end of my 48 weeks I was getting a few new ones, but they didn't seem dangerous, just annoying as all get-out. Perhaps they only arose because of all the time with the other sx, maybe because the others wore me down so much. I hope you continue along with no sx and achieve the prize!
