Meds in airport

Hi I am on my third week of Olysio,Savaldi and ribaviron. I feel really good. I have my CBC checked at a weekly blood draw and and viral load checked at 2 and four weeks but not sure when they will check it again after 4 weeks.

I don't know much about chemistry or biology but I have a fear of taking the meds through x Ray scanners at the airport since I half to travel this week.

While I don't think there is a problem I would like some opinions on what to do with my meds at the airport.
Thanks

Thank you . I would hate to see 165k worth of meds degrade for any reason.
I should probably keep them in in a fire proof safe!
Marc good luck to you also. It would be great to be hep c free!

Do airport x-rays affect medication?
______________________

"health.harvard.edu" and type "airport X-Ray" in the search box in the upper
right corner.   Tells about effects.   Also, says to keep your medication together in a separate pouch inside your carry on bag.   Medication can be searched by airport agents.  Makes it easier and fast if all your medication is in one container.

I'm on the same triple therapy - week 7 now.  Good luck - it's great that you're not having any side effects.
Re: travel.  It's best to travel with the meds in the original Rx bottle with your name and drug listed on the label.  Never pack them in your suitcase; take them in your carry-on; no harm in passing through scanners, etc.

I wouldn't think their is a problem because the medication is prescribed to you.  You might want to get a note from your doctor saying you are currently
on treatment and their contact information.   I would do this more for safety reasons because you could have side effects from the medication while traveling.   As far as the effects of putting the medication through an ex ray
machine?.....That is a question for the drug company that makes the medication.  I'm sure you can find their contact information online.

Best to you
