Metallic taste

Everyday seems to bring a new side effect for my husband. Any suggestions for the metallic taste in his mouth? Is this the incevik or the other two? You have all been so helpful on his other symptoms- we really appreciate it!

Here are some ideas from forum members that I posted in my journal:

My husband's specialty pharmacy also suggested red meat, marinated meat, and food at cooler temperatures.

I like the frozen fruit Popsicles for the metallic taste- strawberry is okay but love, love the lemon ones.
They help make drinking water a bit more palatable as well.

I have seen a number of sites suggest tart drink flavors will help.  Here is one, has some additional ideas too.  http://www.hepatitis.va.gov/patient/treat/side-effects-mouth-stomach-digestion.asp#S2X

I drank a zero water and it was enough for me usually.

Citrus or tart flavors help; I've also been a gummi bear addict lately; I've had the metallic taste for the past 5 months-ugh!
