New trials in Tejas GS 5885 Administered Concomitantly With GS-9451, Tegobuvir and Ribavirin (RBV) i

Friends as some of you may recall, I am 2x relapser who's been waiting for the new crop of hope to appear. i can't tale interferon again and not really sure about riba- i had extreme malfunctions from my treatment both times...

this is the new trials in tejas, anybody know about any of this stuff? i am having a tough time finding drug info. i'd really like to try the new pharmasset trials but for treatment naive only at this point.

Jerialice, I think I saw something from Mary4Now who was on a Gilead trial like this and vaguely recall some other posts from non responders joining oral Gilead trials.  You may want to try the search box for Gilead.  Some of these posts are being moved to HepatitisSocial so you could look there too.

I just finished up a trial that included the Tegobuvir.  It was pulled during my last week or so because of interactions with interferon which was part of my protocol.  Luckily, if I was taking it, I had no bad reactions to it.  They are continuing testing it in all-oral trials as you know.  Good luck - I hope it works for you.  I am still UND and hopefully will stay that way but like you, I could not and would not take the interferon again.
