On Treatment 11 weeks!

Hello everyone,
I have started my tx 11 weeks ago, since the 2 week, I have developed cankers (Afta Stomacali) in my throat, sometimes deep inside, went to different doctors (specialists) was given antibiotics, syrups, etc...nothing helped, actually it just made it worse.
My liver doctor thinks it is to do with dryness, however I always drink at least 3 litters of water a day and even bought a humidifier to help at night...nothing helped and here I am living with this unsolved problem besides many others that it is not worth mentioning, I guess you all are used to them as well.

Anyone could give me information about this issue.
Thank you and a happy 2010 to all.
Best
Luiz

I have heard of a medicine called Carafate that some people use for mouth ulcers, even though it is a medication for stomach ulcers.  But it is supposed to work well.  You could ask your doctor about it.  Good luck -- I hope you find something that works very soon!

I had to stop tx at 23 instead of 24 because of severe mouth sores. I had ulcers on the sides of my tongue and on the insides of my checks. I al so got thoes bumps on the end of your tongue. Anything like Mexican food or pizza burned my mouth real bad. I tried miracle wash- you get from dentist. and I rinsed with biotine for dry mouth. The corners of my mouth felt like like they were burned. Dr. said use cream like monistat. It did help. I feel for you the mouth problems seemed to be  my worst tx.
Good Luck
