many chemos cause this condition too. i had it after cancer treatment and now it is back in my finger tips from hcv treatment.
i was diagnosed with cryoglobulinemia through blood tests. my HEPA said treating the HCV will help the cryoglobulinemia. my symptoms are red dots, red blotchy skin mostly on my legs. i was also more sensitive to cold conditions. my platelet count was also low, 70K.
i hope that helps.
Your question really can't be answered without a doctor diagnosing the underlying cause of the peripheral neuropathy. For people that have hcv and neuropathy it is often caused by hcv associated cryoglobulinemia. In that case successful treatment of hcv may also resolve the cryoglobulinemia and neuropathy.
