Post transplant - SVR after S/O

I had liver transplant 12 years ago. Had many unsuccessful treatments with interferon/riba, the last time it was a 72 week torture and I relapsed once the tx stopped. Hep C 1b, F2-F3.

I did Sovaldi + Olysio for 12 weeks, was undetected since week 3 and a few days ago got results of my 12 weeks test after EOT. Undetected! Had HCV for 52 years and finally SVR for me too. Could not believe it, treatment was quite easy - sensitivity to sun, especially during the first weeks of tx, some vague symptoms of headache, also in the beginning of tx, but nothing comparable to IFN/RIBA, very doable.

Post transplants should be aware that Sovaldi increases effects of prograf, so prograf level has to be checked and the dose may need to be adjusted.
Feeling better with each day, more energy, liver enzymes normal.
So there is hope for all post-transplants! Wishing SVR to all of you!
