Rise in WBC

Acquired Hep C 1990 Genotype- 1- No symptoms over this time
Non responsive to the weekly jab/daily Tab. treatment (2012)
Do yearly blood tests/Hep Medic
Last test Ok liver function good, see u again in a year
But your WBC high
Medic examines all lymph nodes and finds swollen nodes in neck
Has me undertake further blood tests to be sent to haematologyDept.

Hi there and welcome Gyhgtedsa.   Just noticed that you posted a question/comment and sorry for the delay.
A high WBC usually is caused by an infection which can affect the lymphatic system.  Were they able to find the cause?
