SVR hallelujah

SVR is mine!  Praise God!  I had a rough rough time with treatment, mainly due to low hemoglobin.  But I'm back in the world and happy to know the virus is suppressed within me.

Man o man, this road that suddenly drops down in front of us.  So many side streets.  Looking back is so much better than looking ahead.  Looking ahead was so full of uncertainty and indecision.  Looking back, I see growth - strenghthening of body, spirit, and relationships.  And I thank God for SVR.

If you are considering treatment and in the Atlanta area, I highly recommend Dr. Pearlman at the Atlanta Hep C Center. He knows this disease.  He has also begun Telaprevir trials with 2 doses per day vs. 3.

This forum (the people that populate it) are invaluable.  This is where I learned and it helped me to make informed choices.  Thanks to all the forum elders, thank you thank you.  Good luck to all the newcomers.

SVR baby!! It's so sweet.

Thanks to all!
Diane hang in there.  It seems to go fast (when you're looking back).
Trinity, I hate that you must go again.  I wish this SVR was a surety for all.  That's  a bitter side of this sweet.  I talked to Dr. P about you, of course, he just smiled, shook his head and said nothing.
Thanks for all your well wishes, and I wish you all well.

Congratulations on your SVR.  Dr. Pearlman is awesome.  His smile and laugh are contagious and I think he's the most brilliant and compassionate doctor I've ever met.

If Atlanta wasn't so far away I would definitely check out the trials he's conducting.

Enjoy your good health,

Trinity
