I use WEN you have to order it online from QVC pricey but it last a long time. Once you WEN you'll never use shampoo again.

I tend to break out from a lot of products, skin allergies.  I have been using the nioxin and that is work ing ok.  I still start getting a burning and itching sensation sometimes that is pretty bad.  I have been putting coconut oil in the microwave for about 10 seconds to melt it.  Test it to make sure it's not hot.  Get a towel around you to protect your clothes from drip, bend over the sink and pour slowly onto various areas saturating the scalp and then the length of the hair.  I try to either tie it up loosely and sleep with it or wait 2 hours and wash it out, wash once and condition.  It has been relieving my scalp itch and burn for at least a couple days every time I do it.  The only thing I have found so far.  Messy but relief.

I've been using Nioxin products. The shampoo and conditioner is really good. I find I don't have to wash my hair everyday. I used to have to wash it everyday because of the oil, it's dryer now and will still look good for a few days. I guess It's good to be a greasy person finally. Haven't lost much but I'm watching closely. Scalp feels like it hurts a little. The nixion shampoo and condition will make it look thicker then it is. Good stuff

Mine got really dry so I started using Selsum Blue.  Scalp's better but my hair didn't feel as soft as I would like, so now I use Selsum Blue for the first wash, and then my regular shampoo for the second wash.  Then I use a little oil and some leave in conditioner (or just leave in some regular conditioner; Pantene).  Hope this helps.  Don't have the shower water too hot.  And stay hydrated.
