Congratulations on Week 30!!  I am in awe that you are working through this tx...you surely are amazing.  I have trouble just making through each day doing my chores, shopping and finances!  *S*  The other day the teller saw me and ran and got a chair for me...lol...yikes!  Guess it is showing! ;-)  I too am smoking, Patches though I really cut down..but the cough is horrible.  It seems to always be there.  I am celebrating the half way mark today! I do my 25th shot.  God bless you Patches...you truly are an inspiration!

I know I have smoked through the whole thing. Having lung problems myself I know I should quit. I have tried the e-cig and they work pretty good but I just want a really cig when I get home. lol But at least with those I am not getting the tar nor the tabacco. The lung Dr. has told me that my oxygen saturation is not good, She said like when you breathe in the oxygen is supposed to seep through the lining and get oxygen to your blood. Well mine is not seeping to good. woof I hope that after this treatment my lungs will get better. Glad I'm not the only idiot...lol

Go Patches Go !   I am so proud of you for sticking it out.  I dont know if I could of went 48 weeks.     The cough , they say is attributed from Riba,  I had it to the point I thought I had some kind of funky lung disease.   But I am a month now post triple therapy and cough is going away.  Smoking dont help, and I am a smoker with allergies, sinus problems and other respiratory probs.  I am an idiot.   Going all this time doing treatment for a horrible disease and still havent quit.
Anyway, the doctor can prescribe something called " something -Pearls)  and they are supposed to work. Drink lots of water and keep treading baby.     xo

Hang in there girl, you can do it. This is just temporary.  That cough is a bugger, not a major annoyance, but always there.  I'm glad to report that 2 days after EOT, the cough is essentially gone.  And breathing is just a little easier.  Keep on plugging away, the end isn't too far away.
