Hello :)
I just had my 8th Procrit shot and I'm in my 15th week of Tx/24 weeks total. My hemotologist gives it to me, and yes, it can sting. Funny though, because when one nurse gives it, it NEVER stings - hmmmm?
I have also noticed a pattern, that when I am on Procrit for three weeks and then off for two (because of insurance) when I start back up, I get really nauseas for three days after my shot. Then that's it and I'm fine :)
The hemotologist told me that Procrit technically doesn't have any side effects. Hey, what's one more shot to add to the bunch right? It will help!!!!

Welcome to the forum! I believe that you have come to the best Hep C forum you could have. There are many knowledgeable people on this forum and the support and kindness is amazing.
I have not started treating yet, so I cannot really answer your question to Procrit. From what I have heard so far, it should make you feel better quite soon. Just wanted to welcome you, before I'm going to sleep. Am in Denmark and it's past midnight here.

Welcome to the zoo:) I was on procrit for many weeks, never really had any sxs from it. Though it does sting a bit if you inject it to fast. Best to have it at room temp. and go slow and easy......... Best to you
