Six weeks after EOT - Life is Good

Tomorrow will be six weeks since my last dose of ribavirin to finish 72 weeks of treatment. Previously I posted a wish list of what I hoped to regain. Amazingly enough, I've already got a lot of what I wished for. Here's the list:

I want my energy back. NOT YET
I want my hair back. NOT YET
I want my appetite back. MMM. FOOD IS GOOD
I want my libido back. YEP
I want my personality back. YEAH!
I want my 20 pounds back. GAINED 12 POUNDS
I want my wife to have her husband back. WISH GRANTED

My energy is improved but not quite there yet. Things seem fine then all of the sudden I'm wiped out. I also have the weirdest aches and pains, and I ache after pretty mild exercise.

I'm glad for the improvement so far and just have to wait for the rest.

Congratulations on life getting back to normal. I bet everything will return, except maybe your boyish hair. :)

When my husband, Mr. Not-a-Vain-Bone-in-His-Body, saw his balding spot, he went into shock. I told him no one notices because of his height but it didn't help a bit.

Hope your hair returns with a vengeance, along with everything else.

All the best,
Port

Hopefully the one that's not on the list will come back a big fat zero. I hope that here is no difference between # 4 and # 7.

It seems as though we finished last riba at about the same time I took my last dec.9. 2008.

I don´remember but were you UND at four weeks post?
Othervise I have about the same as you and the ache and pain has been worse than during tx lately.
Yes after mild exercise but I´ve been stupid enough to overdo the exercise aswell .

I also got some real disturbing depressiv tendencies once in a while worst came 5 weeks post, hasn´t lasted long though so far thx God.

Be well.

Thank you so much for the update. I was wondering if you can ever be the same again after TX? It is so nice to hear you got your mojo back. It gives me hope.
