I had optic nerve swelling in my left eye a couple of weeks ago.  Last visit, a couple of days ago showed swelling had gone down.  Just have to keep checking. All other eye tests were normal.
Hope this helps.
I wish all a great day:)

I have had weird eye stuff like that on and off during tx but nothing has been permanent so far.
I guess you need to watch it and see (no pun) if it needs attention by eye doc.
btw I'm at #38 thursday.

I am deeply sorry that i accidently hit the post comment button i didn't even have the curser on it...i thought i was just hitting the arrow button to move to a different paragraph...and it wasn't working...wooops...

i was going to congradulate chevy...HOrayyyyyyyyyyyy...i'm so glad you are a responder...i was praying for you big time yesterday....

then all of a sudden it said msg posted...yikes....and all the way to the end... i pray you will all have mercy on me...

i was also going to ask scott if he could post the sight where he got that great laymin term explaination of the tx...so i can keep it in my favorites...thanks scott...that was great...

i was also going to tell zedina that if she has NASH that is different than hepc...perhaps she has both ?...nash is non alcholic steatosis...ie...fatty liver disease...that can lead to cirrhosis of the liver...it is different from having just fatty liver...the fat actually causes the disease process ...

my girlfriends mom had to be trasplanted eventually for this...my prayers go out to you zedina...you can get your bmi down if it's up and see what the treatment for this is nowadays. don't eat any high fat foods...diet is so important...low fat...you probably will be told you have moderate liver damage a 2-3. this is a guess obviously, i'm no dr...please let us know how you are doing and what the dr. says...do a search  on NASH LIVER DISEASE and you will find all sorts of stuff on it...come here for support...it is very similar to what we are going through with our livers... we care about you...

Thanks to everyone that replied.  I FINALLY see my GI Doc Thursday and will see what he says.  (it's been 3 months) I have deceided to advise him that I am off treatment unless he can give me better care. There are no other Drs that treat hep C in my town and due to my sides I cannot drive far.  I cannot write much because I am in constant pain due to my migraines, but I really do thank all of you that took the time to answer.  Besides my primary care Dr you are the only ones that care.(that understand) I will let you all know what happens.

Congratts to all of you that are getting the wonderful SVR results!!! You're all in my prayers.     KK

Has anyone experienced eye problems during tx?  I had a sort of fine line of light on my right eye yesterday..........I guess you can say along the outer edge of the top of the eye. It was getting daylight, so it was sort of dark in the room. I took a shower and i noticed it again......It came and then it was gone after blinking , 10 min it was gone and then i noticed a new floater in that same eye...I think i should go to the eye doc and see whats up.....I know that eye problems can be a sx........and can be serious.....I dont want to have to stop TX.......so, im debating here.......Got any answers for me?

Thanks for the comments.  I feel fine.  Very ready to wrap this tx. Looking forward to a good summer without being concerned about injections, infections, limited social contact, fatigue and pills!  Hopefully the tx will end up working...I'll know in a couple months.  If not, I gave it a try, I'm no worse off....probably better off frankly and I'll continue to enjoy myself regardless.  Take care.  donl, I'm in eastern MA near Framingham.

I asked my wife who is an NP about the stool thing. She said that the green stool is simply an indication of a "fast moving" gi tract. Nothing to worry about. Eating more fiber could help slow it down if you're worried.

Honey.....Yeah, that post by Chevy cracked me up too. Can you just picture that conversation between Chev and Brown Eyes? She probably spent 10 minutes "explaining" the whole meaning of "NO" to him after she said it. hahahahahahaha This is an accomplishment for her though. Usually she can't hardly even speak in his presence. Good to see her gaining confidence. hahahahaha

Sounds like this is nothing to be to worried about unless it doesn't let up soon and then a call to the dr.

chev...haha Did I read your post right about "Dr Brown Eyes" and you saying "no"  LOL  That had me cracking up!  Wish I had a Dr Brown Eyes!!!  I would be more excited about my monthly visits LOL

In searching for some info, I ran across this exchange from 1998. Interestingly, it is from the Medhelp GI archives answered by a doctor. The poster has some other issues, but it's the best I could find.

What causes green stools? Years ago I was told it was caused by a bacterial infection, or over-growth of natural GI bacteria.
When it has happened before, it only lasted 1-2 days. This time it has been nearly a week, and still going. I am a Celiac, so the fact that the stools are loose may or may not be important.

_Dear Mithranda,

Stool color is generally influenced by the diet. Yellowish brown, green, tan and orange colored stool have all been described and are considered normal. Black, tarry stools or red, burgundy colored stools are indicative of recent gastrointestinal bleeding. Clay colored stools indicate a blockage of the bile ducts. If your stools are formed then I wouldn't worry about the green stools. On the other hand, the fact that your stools are loose and that you have celiac sprue are important. It would be important to know how strict you are about keeping to a gluten-free diet. The level of anti-gliadin antibodies over time can show how compliant you are with the diet. If the level is declining, then you are probably doing a good job with the diet. Another issue is whether you have an intestinal infection. Have you traveled anywhere recently or have you taken any antibiotics? Are you taking any medications that can cause loose stools? You may need to have stool cultures sent or have an upper GI endoscopy or a colonoscopy performed. Some investigators have reported an increased incidence of lymphocytic colitis with celiac sprue. Lymphocytic colitis is diarrheal disorder that causes an inflammation in the intestinal wall that can only be diagnosed on colonic biopsies. Good luck to you. I hope you find this information helpful.
