Since I am not on tx right now ( finished Nov.2009, interferon & ribavirin) & am waiting for the new drugs in June 2011, I take Milkthisle, Selenium, & drink a glass of grapefruit juice (naringenin) a day. I also drink at least a gal. of water a day, plus daily vitamin. Be sure about the grapefruit, because it doesn`t mix with some drugs. Look it up & make sure. May God Bless.

I'm sorry to correct you, but iron is NOT a good idea when you are on interferon treatment. It can be counterproductive to treatment. Another reason is that the ferritin levels become very much elevated on treatment, as the liver has problems assimilating the iron.

I also suggest you get your vitamin D tested. You are most probably deficient. (Most of us are)

Try and search for vitamin D in the search field above. There has been a lot of discussions about it.

Take Centrum SILVER or something without iron in it.  And don't take too much A or K because they are stored in the liver I believe and we dont need more of it.

But definitely NO iron.
