Teleprevir approval?
Hello Everyone! Does anyone know when Vertex's teleprevir will be approved by the fda for treatment? I have been waiting for the good news since 2009 and the date seems to get bumped further away each time. I would love to hear if anyone has information that is accurate. Thanks and have a great day!
The advisory panel voted unanimously for approval yesterday. The FDA meeting is in few weeks.
The FDA must approve or disapprove of telaprevir on or before May 23 of this year. How long it will take to get on the drug formularies is something we do not know yet.
All signs I've read point to this summer in the United States. Search the forum for "telaprevir approval" and you'll find dozens of posts.
