Most centers can't start m ore than a few people a day. Lots of tests at the beginning, so that makes it difficult to start everyone at once.
I think the major risk in this trial is that if it turns out this combo is not effective, you might have developed resistance to the PI and the polymerase inhibitor.
I hope this turns out to be the killer combo, but it might be better to wait until more data is available and the phase II trial starts. It sounds like this is phase 1. Does anyone know if that is true?
i see their recruiting starting in april..and looks like they have to finish the study by april 2011..so with these trials do they start people at different times? or does everyone in the trial start the same time?if it's finished in april 2011 and it's 36 weeks then do you back up 36 weeks from april 2011 for a starting date? .....billy
why do you have to be sick to get in? and how sick?
I couldn't risk it. Not after treating for so long the first time.
Proof is in the pudding. Show me the numbers first.
The difference is 150 people instead of 100. It means maybe they will have a few more locations availible. Maybe even one here in Az.
that would be great especially if it were the case for all genos
don`t forget if they don`t you will be resistant to that drug alltogether
it`s all about SVR
