Hi Everybody!

I am 33 years old and live in italy 2 and half years back i completed my Hepatitis C treatment (Injection 6 month) after that my doctor said me to have tests for one year and half, after that she said me that i dont need treatment as my virus is negative.

The problem is i have very upset stomach and upper back pain on both side. I have done endoscopy but they found nothing i have done helicobacter pylori its also negative. my stomach is always full of gas. I have allergies on ear nose and skin. I dont know what to do next my doctor is speechless. I have done x-rays for chest and they found lungs are ok.

Kindly guide me what i should do? please!!!

Thank you

Imran

As I understand it, the most common food allergies are to wheat/ gluten, eggs, and dairy.  You could try not eating these for 2 weeks and see how you feel.  Then, add them back into your diet one at a time and stay alert for your symptoms returning - assuming they subsided during the two week abstinence interval.

Lydel, thank you for your input however, I am not the questioner.

NO , your stomach may be sensitive to certain types of food so what ? lots of people have such problem , they simply avoid such kinds of foods

what ever it could be it's irrelevant to HCV , IT MAY BE SIMPLY MYOSITIS , specially when it increases in winter which could be relieved by analgesics and getting warm

Have a kidney scan run and you may also want to do the food journal thing and perhaps think about seeing an allergy specialist. It does sound like a mystery!

I haven't a clue.  I assume that the endoscopy ruled out hiatal hernia.  Since it comes and goes it might be helpful to keep a food and activity journal and see if you notice any patterns.  Good luck in your mystery.

Do you have any increased pain if someone - not too hard- slaps your back with a flat fist over the lower half of your ribs?
