Treatment and Hair Loss

Hello I am 32 , will probably start treatment next year , how common is hair loss ?
I spoke to someone at the support centre and they told me it can happen but is
not one of the more common side effect .
Any opinions would be great thanks .

I'd rather have my liver than my hair.

Didn't think about that Diane, you know the weight of my hair. Its not very thick, I have baby fine hair. No grays yet I don't think.. Haven't looked to hard though. I guess if I start losing it, that's something to consider..

You may change your mind when it starts coming out. I didn't start loosing mine until my 8th week and luckily for me most of the hair that has fallen out was the gray hair so I'm pretty much back to the color I was at 15 before I started trying to help nature out with chemicals. It is kind of weird to have all those hairs in your fingers after running your fingers through it, and the weight of your really long hair may make it fall out more. I know when I used to be a hair dresser people that had really long hair always were amazed at how much thicker their hair felt and looked when they got a few inches cut off so............

How important is thinning hair in your decision to treat. It's not uncommon, but you won't go bald and it will come back. You may find that it's a great look for you!

Mine is thinner after almost 21 weeks. I still look super good though, especially the pasty skin from low hgb! LOL

Welcome to the forum,
