I'm thinking the same way. We can do this. I'm gonna talk to my nurse about the left chest pain.
I'm doing shot 44 tonight and I still have 28 more to go coz I'm a slow responder and I'm on the extended 72 week TX.
This has been horrible.
The only reason I don't stop is coz I don't thnk I would ever try TX again and I've already finished 70% of the treatment.
But, if it's any consolation, you're not alone.
I took AD's from months 5 to 8, during a stressful time of moving, insurance problems, financial worries, bad SX, etc. I stopped a couple of months ago coz I found that feeling like a zombie was even worse than the riba rage.
Point is - it's gotten more difficult as TX goes on. No two ways about it - this is rough.
The left chest area pain I would mention to the Dr.
Wyntre
the reason I ask is, it may not be tx related, thats a first assumtion that could be erroneous.
It could be a lot of things. Exaustion, gall bladder, a spot of chirrosis that won't go away or about 50 other things. your age? angina commonly begins around 50-60 so a long course of chemo could set that in motion.
It's something I would go to the doc for, we are just lay people in here mostly.
hope that helps.
Tibu: My blood work is good, but lately i seem to be getting a constant slight pain on my left chest area even if I'm just sitting around, like right now. Is this normal?
---------------------------------
There could be a lot of benign causes, but I think you owe it to yourself to call your doctor right away and report the sympton in case it's heart related and your med team thinks further tests are needed such as EKG, etc. I really wouldn't fool around or play the odds with constant chest pain, however slight.

first congrats on the length of time!!! takes courage, you got it, be proud of yourself.
gosh no one on tx ever gets testy or cynical in here do they?? jk
I think we all know what's up, at least you are owning it, better than trying to hide behind a mask right?
I do know that pressure from air in the stomach, as well as esophageal swelling can seem like chest pain. you did not indicat if you are referencing outer tissue, rib cage, or internal pain.
Which is it and where more exactly?
By constant do you mean from the time you wake up till bed, or more after a meal perhaps?
Thanks for the positive reinforcement. I feel once again inspired. I tried ADs for a couple of months. It seemed to work a bit but for me not feeling anything at all was depressing in itself. I've just been seemingly stressed out for the past 10 months. Thanks for the sleep advise. I have to take a little pill to help me as i work shifts. When this tx ends, I'm hopping i can ween myself off the sleep meds. Time heals, that's what i think, some days are better than others and today was a good day despite everything else. And, it even got better when i read your encouraging words (so sappy). Thanks again and all the best. You're all champs.
My nurse just told me that 32 to 38 weeks is the hardest point for her 48 week paitents. By this time we (including me, I am around 35 weeks) are sick to death of the treatment, but the finish is still months away. Your reaction is normal, we can do this last bit as bad as it is.
Hola
Dude, you have only 2 more months to go (meaning you just finished 80% of tx). The AD suggestion sounds good but remember, you're getting there. Just 2 more boxes of pegasys and that's it...
Sleep a bit more
Good luck to ya
hey dude!..been there, done that..are you taking any AD?...trx is the biggest downer i have ever experienced, but it will end..Keep yr eyes on the prize-SVR and be extra good to yourself....GOODLUCK back at ya.
