Ensure claims to contain nutritional ingredients which aid a person’s normal diet, but the ingredients contained are mostly synthetic or chemical substances with little proven benefits for dieters. The actual nutrients — namely, Vitamin A and Vitamin D3 — are also listed in the lower half on the ingredient list, indicating it is used in smaller doses in comparison to the rest of the ingredients. These ingredients, if used in larger doses, may have provided nutritional benefits to dieters who are not able to eat a sensible plan, but the lower dosage may lessen these benefits. Furthermore, any diet-related benefits could not be located. It appears Ensure may match the caloric content of an average meal (say, 300 calories or so) but as a nutritional supplement, may not contain the amount dieters may desire for optimum nutrition.

I had the same problem with weight loss during tx. I have only gained 5 lbs of it back since stopping tx 3 1/2 months ago. Way too thin!
After the weight loss began I ate a lot of ice cream, cookies, cakes, chips, pancakes, pasta, peanut butter sandwiches, etc and all foods with high calorie content. It did not help much and I did manage to gain a few lbs, but I strongly feel eating that way kept me from losing more weight.
I to was concerned about the weigh lost but so far it has not caused any further health problems. Try to increase your calories to prevent further loss.
Will the Vitamin D3 supplements like D500Cal and Logical can the deficiency of vitamin D3 can be avoided. I happen to see these vitamin D3 supplements online at Internationaldrugmart.
