Take the meds with Greek yogurt. It has about 20 grams of fat in about 8 ounces of yogurt. The other yogurts do not have as much fat content as the Greek yogurt.
You may lose weight. I did not. I have gained but I hope to lose it after I am done with the Incivek. I also have no nausea or vomiting and no sores in my mouth so I have no trouble eating. Some people have nausea and vomiting and some have sores in their mouths so they may be losing weight because they are not eating much. In addition, I make sure I get plenty of fat. I would rather gain a few pounds and get rid of this virus than skimp on the fat and end up keeping the virus. Incivek, espceially, needs that 20 grams of fat every time.

My doc said to take meds with yogurt. This is it second attempt last was triple tx for 48 weeks ended up being placebo....so I quit smoking in aug put on my big girl pants and am trying again! And with the quitting smoking after 35yrs I mean big girl pants...:) I wAs holding on to a glimmer of sunshine dropping pounds!

nope because of the 20 grams of fat three times a day I have now gained 6 lbs I have three weeks left on the incevik. There are several others here who have also gained weight, I hope I will be able to get rid of it once the incevik is done. One suggestion though don't be stingy with the fat it does help with absorption of the drug and you will notice if you dont get enough, it also helps with the rectal burning so do the fat. I'm sure others will chime in.
