It depends what condition your liver is in.  Mine is stage one, grade one, and therefore my gastroenterologist said I can take whatever I want for a headache or muscle/joint pain.  I don't take Tylenol because it does absolutely nothing for my headaches.  I usually take two extra strength Bayer aspirin, or two Advil, and if it's a headache, I also have a big glass of Diet Coke, and if it's really bad, I take a hot shower and let the water run on the back of my head and my neck. If it still hurts, I have a bowl of vanilla ice cream (for some reason this helps my headache), and if it still hurts, I go to the chiropractor and have an adjustment.

I'm in constant pain every day because of fibromyalgia and plantar fascitis.

I was told that I can can tylenol for headaches and pains but they got so bad that I was given a prescition for vicodin and initrex for migraines.

I am so sorry to hear about your family, It must be awful to have to wait for them with no word on thier safety. My heart goes out to you an all those in this horrible time of need. I can't even begin to image what it would be like. I had relatives move out of New Orleans just a few months ago so I didn't have to go through the agony that you and so many more are right now. The way the whole situation is being handled disgust me. These people (our families, friends and neighbors )deserve better than what the government has been doing.

I was told to take two Tylenol Extra Strength (500 mg each) for headache pain.  Haven't needed anything besides that yet (TYG), so can't help beyond that.

God bless -

My heart goes out to you and your family in Biluxi. I do hope you hear from them soon.

I am not an emotional person, but I keep tearing up everytime I see a story on the news or hear a story on the radio  driving in the car.  I think the Riba must be compounding the matter.  I just don't usually cry.

"The best and most beautiful things in world cannot be seen or touched. They can only be felt by the heart".

I don't know where this saying came from but just last week this guy that really likes my sister had an artist do a chalk drawing on the sidewalk in front of her hair salon. It was of two people sitting on the beach watching a sunset. They were surrounded by a huge heart with this saying outlined on it. The colors had to be seen to be believed...it was beautiful. He also had little hearts going from where she parks her car, leading all the way to her shop. I was so impressed with what he had done that I told my sister that if she didn't give him a chance, then I would, LOL  It really made my day and it wasn't even meant for me. I know this doesn't have anything to do with hepc but I thought it might bring a smile. May God bless and I hope everyone is doing ok.

Hi Everyone one!  Just wanted to drop in and see how all are doing and give my latest updates.  I am counting down the days until the 12 when I start treatmnet.  Could not have come at a worse time since the hurricane Katrina disaster.  I don't know what my body has been running on the last 5 days worring about my family in Biloxi.  I finally got one brother here to Houston and still have 2 other brothers, Dad & mom there.  You would not believe!  The stories my brother is telling me!  This all has really stressed me out!

Please keep everyone there in your prayers.  I am going to go ahead with treatment and not put it off.  My chances are so good to clear this, and perhaps the fund raising and benifits we are putting together with take my mind off any side that may appear.

Check out my web site www.biloxirelieffund.org and make sure you sign my guest book.  I just really feel for all and only hope there are not many there on the coast that treatment has been interrupted.

God bless all!
Fisheress

For a regular headache I just take 1 tylenol.  For a migraine, I take Imitrex.  I think just about any pain reliever would be okay unless he is taking it daily and taking a lot of it.
