What type of rash is it

Hi, I have not posted many post but I read daily.   I just finished Incivek 3 weeks ago.  Does this rash look familiar.  It does not itch and has only spread out a little since I noticed it.  I believe it came before Incivek.

Rashes are more likely with the triple tx. As geno 2 you needn't worry.
If you have problems, go for the goldbond.

Don't worry. Even if you do get a rash, it is temporary. Just make sure you have the list of supplies for easing the discomfort. :-)

Hmmm,   I did get a rash there, but mine itched, and my PI was Victrelis.
Well, it's a good thing it doesn't itch...that is an area that gets a lot of sun, and these meds make us sensitive to the sun, it's called Photosensitivity.
Have your Doc check it out...it looks like it spreads horizontally, but then again, I'm not wearing my glasses~  Good luck

Idyllic,  I was on Riba and Peg for 3 weeks prior to starting Incivek.  I recall seeing a spot at that time but somewhere down the line it started to spread.  I will be sure to ask a doctor about it before it spreads further.

If it came before Incivek then wouldn't that mean it came prior to treatment?

Either way I would have a Dermatologist check it out. There are times the most inconsequential irritation can evolve into something that could have been contained if properly diagnosed.

The sternum is the exact same spot I got a "rash" the first time I treated (with only the Peg & Riba) and to this day I have to scars in that spot. I can't even wear the modest of v-neck tops or it stands out :(

You asked if it could be a spider angioma in your profile and the answer is no. They are red spots with little spidery like veins radiating out.

Not sure what you're rash is from but since you're on tx, and it doesn't bother you, I wouldn't worry.
It actually could just be a bruise, we often bruise easily on tx.

If it's still there next time you see your doctor, ask him or her.

it doesn't look like an incivek. go to google and click on the images tab on the top, then type in incivek rash. you should get a bunch of pics, then you can make the call.

good luck
