drinking

Is drinking really bad when you have hepatitis c?? i dont drink much but maybe once a month I like to go out please if anybody has any advice i like to hear it

Is throwing gasoline on a burning kitten to put it out really bad?

Anywhere you look the first item on the Hep C stop doing list is alcohol.

My father got infected when he was 16 and now he is 66.
Since he discovered he had Hepatitis C he did not drink anymore and he is still alive.

I suggest you not to drink at all my friend.

PS: Two interferon treatments helped him

Someone else just asked the same question and I'll say the same thing.   Common sense should give you the answer as to that one. You have a liver disease that causes progressive liver damage and perhaps even death.  I'd put 2 and 2 together and just make sure I wasn't damaging that liver of yours anymore than possible (and the virus does that on it's OWN).
