are they testing at one year post treatment

The med tech called me today and said my 6 month viral load is undectected (post triple therapy).  Yeah!!!  but she also said she wasn't sure if they will do a one year test or not.  Does anyone know if I can kick my heals up now and celebrate or do I have to have a one year clearance before I can consider myself cured?  I was always under the impression that is was 6 months, but I haven't kept up on all the research as I know all of you do on this site.

Kick up those heels! You bet! My doc is currently doing an annual test also. I think it's just because the word "cure" is new to the HCV community.
I'm done with it though. You are too!
Congrats, Karen:)

You are cured : ). I Don't know what triple you did but if you go to incivek.com
is clearly states you are cured 6 months post treatment.   Your cured 6 months post treatment if you are tested and have no HCV viral load.
