Are you saying that you got Hep C from alcohol?????You might have cirrosis from the alcohol OR the cirrosis is from the Hep C. Hep C is a blood to blood disease, you didnt get it from drinking alcohol..But quitting the alcohol was a good thing to do.........
Hi there,
I think perhaps there’s some confusion. Hep C (HCV) isn’t a result of alcohol intake; it’s a viral disease that spreads via blood contact.
I’m glad to hear your liver enzymes have improved; although that doesn’t necessarily correlate with liver condition or health. Are you certain you were diagnosed with cirrhosis? Early (Child class A) cirrhosis can indeed regenerate, but liver enzymes don’t always tell the entire story. Be sure to follow up with your doctor—

I was diagnosed with Hep C, due to my alcohol intake. Was told I had cirrhosis, put on water pills. I stopped drinking and my liver enzymes are good. It regenerated.
And what do you suppose is wrong with your liver? This is a Hep C forum; are you infected with HCV? Have you been diagnosed with cirrhosis or hepatic fibrosis?
