you got that right i do know sometimes i have to get a bottle of coca-cola classic and chug it and i can feel i have had a lot of gas sitting there just release
No i dont drink soda i drink more tea and juice but when i feel bloated i do get a soda it works good
Yeah, probably nothing but indigestion from meds, but better safe than sorry.
Thanks guys i took a look at pics of what ascites bellies look like and thank god thhats not what my belly looks like its more like it will get big and puffy for about an hour after i eat but it will go back down i think maybe im just not eating slow enough or its gas build up or something but i will bring it to my doc better safe i always say i was just thinking it was because im still on meds
Sounds uncomfortable. The only time I hear a "bloated belly" compared to pregnancy on the forum is like Advocate mentioned: in reference to ascites. The images that show a distended abdomen from being over full or not having a bowel movement look profoundly different than those with ascites. Ditto with a genuine pregnancy. I was going to post a link but decided against it.
Anyway, if it keeps happening and you can't figure it out I would ask about it. Now is the perfect time since you are seeing a GI anyway :)
If you don't have as cites, it most likely isn't liver per se. Could be something else gastrointestinal like gall bladder, intestines, constipation, or just indigestion? I would ask your doctor if I were you. It's not unusual to have other gastric problems because they're all part of the same system.
Thanks but before treatment yes it would bloat up after i ate real big like a bubble but it didnt stay that way only after eating food but since i made that post im thinking your right because now it went back down but since im so close to the end of my treatment ill have to deal with it im having all these crappy sides but at least im getting it at the end and not the beginning so
Thanks for you help
Was your belly bloated before you began treatment or is it a new symptom? If your liver is still compensated, I would imagine the bloating is more intestinal. The meds can cause havoc with your stomach and intestines. Maybe try some Metamucil, or better yet, ask your doctor's office.
