BOB (my husband) HAD A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK ON FRIDAY NIGHT!!!

he almost died!!! they placed a stint in the "MAIN ARTERY" leading to/from? the heart.  we dont' know much yet (damage etc...), but he miraculously made it through the proceedure. its a long story. he is recovering nicely and even somewhat watched the Bears yesterday... although very sick...... that game was NOT good for his heart though.... he could hardly watch with out his heart reacting to the lousy plays! everytime the bears messed up his heart was doing very weird things.... nurse said she supposed his heart would be worse if she made him turn it off! i spent the whole game watching the heart monitor for problems.... geeeeesh! guys! but, i wanted you all to know. i will be on line only occasionally for a while as i'm in the hospital with Bob all the time... i will also check in here on this thread only for a bit. i may just quick read and respond later when time... thanks for your prayers for healing and about his fevor and organ damage... hopefully not much damage!

anyway, it looks like he will make it through this and if all continues to get better, perhaps come home in a few days???? not sure! though he just developed a tempature indicating an infection is developing....that they are worried about.  started antibiotics and blood/urine cultures to find out the kind of
bug(s) so to kill them.... i certainly pray they can figure out the source and stop it before it does any damage... and before serious stuff starts happening... those blood infections can kill you!!!

hey is cutie around? bob did not come home yesterday because of a fevor... but i think it will be later today... prayers please for this infection to go away...he is looking very good! doc thinks not too much damage in heart details yet unknown...and normal heart activity soooo we are extreemly fortunate... thanks everyone... i did find out he code blued durring the stint though... OMGOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dr said came two minutes from being gone for good... i can not tell you how thankful i am to have him back... GOD WAS SOOOO GRACIOUS TO US!!! THANK YOU LORD JESUS!

Bob may be coming home later today... yippy!!!  his temp was normal too today, and we pray that any infection there will be completely cured...his heart is continuing to stabilize and we will find out more details i hope later...

i wish i could respond to each one here individually...cause you're all soooo sweet... but, just know i am deeply touched and greatful for such loving freinds and support group... it is so nice seeing those too that i havent seen for a while... love you guys, you know who you are...thank you for your notes...

i will update you guys here on Bob so you know whats new... thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I have asked God this morning to be with you, Bob and your family. That he take you into his arms and lead you, giving you the peace and the faith that will ultimately result in happiness, health and the energy to get through this. God does hear prayer and please know that a lot of prayers are being said and heard by God today for you and your family.

I hope things resolve for the better for you and your family...all I can think of now is my uncle, who had a massive heart attack 20 years ago or so, he started running and changed his diet, he's still around today...of course, I don't know the details of your hubbie's case, but I just know things can work out for the better with many, many people...God's speed

I was thinking of you too when Sandi posted this morning.  I know you think the world of her (and she you) and you would want to know.  Glad you saw this.  I thought also of you as I've started some community service here with women finding themsleve homeless... working to get back on their feet, and know you've been involved in the welfare of your community.  It has been busy as heck & can barely make it to mh these days - you've got your business as well & hope that is going well.  Is it?  You were/are a smart cookie in waiting to treat.  Treatment and recovery was a living hell - a lot of emotional ups and down - a real rollercoaster and some crazy behavior.  Now?  Calm seas.
