Our son who has been diagnosed with Autoimmune hepatitas has a very bad cough, runny nose and has been coughing up a coffee grind like substance. I found his spit( per say) in the sink after he brushed his teeth this morning, he insists he feels fine and nothing is wrong. He is 16 years old and is on several immunesurpresents at this time which include Cellcept, Tacrolimus, Predisone. My question is should he seek medical attention for this or could it be just a side effect of his medications he is on?
