For me working hasn't been that bad. I own my company and work in a remote office.
The beginning of 2005 has a busy travel schedule. I'm anxious about extended time with collegues while traveling, long days in customer meetings and airplanes (wouldn't it be great to have a 2 hours "session" on an airplane?).
I hope it helps! The sx of tx are bad enough without having diarrhea to contend with. Let me know how you do with it. caruu
Miked:Is it tough to work while having this problem on tx?
revenire: "in spurts" was hilarious. Did you say that on purpose or was it an accident?
I'll check it out today. Thanks.
Thanks for the advice on a touchy topic.
I'm drinking water like a fish, eat well and excercise regularly.
Hi,
Just wanted to add a comment. If you're having diarrhea, please be careful not to become dehydrated. Barngoddess has a good suggestion re: Gatorade!
Sandy M
Yep, had it. For the most part, just in the morning. Would sometimes even hit me suddenly before leaving the house. Usually, rest of day would be okay. Stopped about 3 wks after finishing tx. Some days I kind of miss it (if you know what I mean).
Good luck to you.
Citrucel is the best source of fiber I've found (recommended by GI) and it really helped with regulating things. I like the tablet form better than the powder. Just take two in the am and two in the pm. caruu
toss out that kitchen sponge if you use one.
You may be giving yourself a bacterial GI infection.
try adding more fiber to your diet.
gatorade will help balance your electrolytes.
Tuck's wipes or Cottonelle wipes will sooth areas that need it.
just a few thoughts.
had to quit going to taco bell
Oh yeah........plenty of toilet time. I tried bananas and other constipating foods, but nothing worked. I found that the more water I drank, the easier everything was ~ even the toilet issue. Maybe it helped wash the meds through so they're not so caustic on our digestive systems?? Who knows? Even with that, I still spent plenty of time "reading".

Yeh, I got that routine down.
Diarrhea can be really serious if left untreated. Did you not address it or was there nothing that worked.
Thanks.
