Viral Load

I wrote my first question wrong as far as the dates go......  7.84 was pretreatment one and it was done on December 6th 2013...... I started treatment Dec 19th 2013 next one of 2.39 was done 4 weeks in on Jan 17th...... day before starting Victrillis part......  the rest I don't know yet.....  so I am hoping its right down or gone for the one done Feb 12th 2014  and same with the one Mar12 2014

I just got a call from my nurse and we are at non detected for 8 week viral load!!   Happy Dancing

Just received a call from my Nurse........ WE are now at zero not detected but continue treatment of course......  I was not at this on the first go around!!!!!    Happy Dancing......  the side effects re worth this

The four week viral load prior to Vic has nothing to do with treatment time

With victrelis the most important dates are week 8 and 12. The four week viral load with vic has nothing to do with treatment time it is only to gage your response to interferon, and yours was great.

What they want with Vic is to get a viral load drop  leading in to starting Vic.
It appears that you did indeed have a very good viral load drop.   Now you need to find out what your viral load was at 4 weeks after starting Vic.  You may not even have a viral load right now and you want it to stay that way...
If you have no viral load at 4-12 Weeks you will continue treatment.   Let us know what your current viral load is.
