finger joints

I have treated twice for Hep C once for 15 mo standard Interferon and Rib, second time for 7 mo with addition of Alinia stopping Jan of 09. I have severe loss of finger joint movement in both hands. started 3 or 4 months after final treatment. My ortho guy doesn't see any structural damage or signs of arthritis .Could there be tie to the Hep C or treatment??

No swelling etc xrays were clear. I can't make a fist with either hand my right only moves 40% or so. I did read that hep c can infect joints, funny that treatment is with interferon. It's been a long time since I used this site do they still have doctors that you can ask questions? I see a joint specialist Monday if I get any news I'll pass it along

Back to the stupid gram per day of tylenol, but that's more for the newly bad knee and it only works so-so for that.  Since it's just one finger, I just try to remember not to use that hand for lifting.when it's acting up. Standard TX for rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis is anti-immune meds.  I'm sure you'll agree that's not a good idea for one who just had chemo to amp up the immune system to KILL level.

I have developed rheumatoid in 1 finger from TX.  You have no redness, swelling, heat or pain, just stiffness?
