generic

I just realized that the Ribavirin I take is generic (mad by TEVA)
Is there a difference between this and the "real" one?
Should I ask the pharmacy to refill with the brand name next time, instead of the generic one?

Thank you

Riba is Riba. The patent ran out some time ago, so pretty much anyone can and does make it. If you have to pay, then buy the cheapest you can.

Than the question is WHY would somebody pay $6 per pill whan there is the much cheaper alternative (generic), for the very same results
In my case, the copayment for a month supply of generic Riba was only $3...

Normally, the company which charges $6 per pill should go broke, or decrease the price.
