Glad you like your Doctor.  It can get in the way if you don't.  Just remember
this is about you and get her e-mail address if you can.  Well at least your ulta sound will show if there is something that is obvious.  May 10th will be here faster than you think.  Learn as much as you can because when your
biopsy comes back...treatment options come with it.  If you decide to treat..
The process to treatment kicks into gear.

Ultra sound can tell if there are  abnormalities.  Like is your liver unusually
larger than normal.  If you have signs of fatty liver and sizes of other organs in the area being investigated. All important information to obtain before treatment.

i think the ultrasound shows the amount of inflammation of your liver and possibly scaring. i had 2 done, no biggie. i'm sure others will expand. your dr sounds like she has good experience treating hcv patients. if you can avoid Interferon and Riba that would be great. but some of us can't wait to treat.

good luck
