greek yogurt and the liver.

I read on this forum something about greek yogurt being bad for the liver. Is there any truth to that?

What someone's doctor may have told them, could apply to their unique circumstances.
Its good to remember that when reading or relaying information.

I've had decompensated cirrhosis, a liver tp as well as hep C.
Never, have I been told to not eat yogurt, of any variety.

Serious, NO.

In fact when I person has End-Stage Liver Disease (the final stage of liver disease), when a patients liver is beginning to fail, yogurt with live bacteria, can be helpful in relieving one of main complications that sometimes occurs. Hepatic Encephalopathy (HE). Which is caused by a build up of toxins in the GI track.
