I read on this forum something about greek yogurt being bad for the liver. Is there any truth to that?

Any chance you can locate the post and provide a link to it?  Never heard that one before.

Just because you read it here doesn't mean its true.  Some opinions are presented as facts, so be cautious in digesting information provided on any forum including this one.  Many provide a link to reference where the information came from so you can read the original source.

No.
What someone's doctor may have told them, could apply to their unique circumstances.
Its good to remember that when reading or relaying information.

I've had decompensated cirrhosis, a liver tp as well as hep C.
Never, have I been told to not eat yogurt, of any variety.

Only if you pour whiskey on it...
Serious, NO.

In fact when I person has End-Stage Liver Disease (the final stage of liver disease), when a patients liver is beginning to fail, yogurt with live bacteria, can be helpful in relieving one of main complications that sometimes occurs. Hepatic Encephalopathy (HE). Which is caused by a build up of toxins in the GI track.

Cheers!
